There is an infamous Sienfeld episode where Jerry finds some fungus medication in his girlfriends medicine cabinet. He thinks his new girl has some unknown disease and is spooked. He tries to find out what the ailment is but fails. In the end the medication turns out to be for her dog.

Snooping is OK if you understand you may find something that you will draw incorrect conclusions about. If you open a medicine cabinet and a case of flavored condems falls out then you can choose your favorite flavor. If you find Herpes medicine then you can write your own walking papers, unless of course you are aware of this. If you find a prescription for lithium or other drug to treat a serious mental disorder then perhap you need to re-consider your relationship. First take a look in your own medicine cabinet and decide yourself if you really want someone looking at your personals. Medicine cabinets are only a small window into someone's life.
